Golden Sands is a resort town on the northern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast located about 20 Km north from Varna, the third largest city and sea capital of Bulgaria. Golden Sands is bordered to the north by Kavarna and to the south by by St. Constantin and Elena resorts. The beach is 4km length and up to 100 metes wide in places. Golden Sands has dense forests, sensational golden beaches beaches, clear calm sea, great summer climate, healing mineral springs and a very lively night life with bars, casinos, nightclubs and an abundance of restaurants.

Golden Sands was the very first of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast beach-resorts to become widely popular. Initially, back in the day, Golden Sands was the main riviera summer holiday location for wealthy Russian holiday makers, however today Golden Sands is very popular with many British and European holiday makers, offering luxury at a much lower cost to other European beach resorts. Sunny Beach is a very popular Black Sea Coast resort.
