Description: This two storey house is situated in a picturesque village which is a part of the Natural Park of Rusenski Lom. In the settlement is located the archeological reserve The Mediaeval Town of Cherven . This village was the key town of Northeast Bulgaria in the 14th century. What has remained of it are the traces of the unfortified outer town and the ruins of the fortification walls of the inner town, of the boyar`s palace, the Bishop`s church and some of the houses in the main street. There were 11 churches in the town, and many monasteries in the rocks around it. The mediaeval town is situated on a high hill in the canyon of the river Cherni Lom, 35 km south of Rousse. There are different historical and archaeological sites in its surroundings: prehistoric, ancient and medieval fortresses, settlements and necropolises. The most impressive are the numerous Christian rock monasteries. The property offers wonderful panoramic view. The house has 80 sq. m. living area and the garden is with 1780 sq. m. area. |
